A fun new way to learn

Today was our first day with the iPads in our classroom. What a fun way to learn our math facts.
Hoot Hoot Here is what's happening in Third Grade this week:

Religion:  This week we take a look at the Old Testament and study the Arch and the Tabernacle.
English: Unit 2 ; Possessive nouns
Writing: Journal
Reading: This week  our story is Wild Shots, They’re My Life.
Spelling: Words this week have c=s, g=j sounds.
Social Studies: Geography of a community.
Science: The Sun and Moon and the Seasons, migration and plant cycles.
Field Trip: We will be going to the Historic Arkansas Museum on
 Oct. 26.

Each month we will read a book from a different literature genre.
Our read aloud book for this month will be a fantasy; Charlotte’s Web.

Our memory for this week:
The Fourth Commandment
Honor your father and your mother.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not despise or anger our parents and other authorities, but honor them, serve and obey them, love and cherish them.
